Week 8: Media Law

R. Shaun Carter Media Law Case

By Sergio Cano

It happened in 2002, where Shaun Carter was being videotaped by a reporter who was dressed up as the hospital staff. Carter thought it was for a hospital purpose but it was  just a reporter who was recording Carter while he was in there. I feel like it was an example of invasion of privacy because of how Carter wanted no paparazzi coming in.
