Week 5: Movie or Television
By Naing Win Aung
Recently, when I was visiting Singapore for my sis’s graduation, I happened to watch “Train to Busan” with my friend in a cinema. It was one of the best movies I’ve ever seen in a while. It is about a zombie apocalypse that happened by an accident in Seoul, Korea and a group of people were on a train trying to escape from them. Even though it is very much similar to most of the “zombie” genre’s movie, there are several unique characters that have their own little stories that have full of emotions and struggles that they have. Hence, this makes the movie a lot more interesting. Personally, my all-time favorite movie would be “The Terminal” featuring Tom Hanks, who is also one of my favorite actors. The movie is about a traveler being trapped in the airport due to the war happening in his country, and he was unable to leave the airport since there isn’t any flight that is going to his country. However, he still manages to find a job there and made a bunch of friends he can rely on. I love the movie because it is very remarkable, hilarious and it has an excellent plot. I’ve watched this movie several times with my friends and family with DVDs.
