Media Law Case

Friedman v. Live Nation

The lawsuit is against Live nation under the claims of copyright infringement under 17 U.S.C. 101 et seq., and removal of copyright management information under 17 U.S.C. 1202. This lawsuit is a copyright dispute over Live Nation using unauthorized photos of the group Run-DMC taken by Glen Friedman. Live Nation allegedly infringed Friedman’s copyrights of the photos and removed copyright information.

I agree with the courts ruling as Live Nation willfully infringed Friedman’s copyrights.
